Alexander is a student in Mechanical Engineering. His interest is in the design and evaluation of compliant wearable robotics. These compliant wearables are designed to increase the comfort and adaptability of traditionally passive wearables such as prosthetic sockets. He is also interested in how the variable mechanical impedance of these wearable devices effects users’ task performance, cognitive load, and perception.
