M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University
B.S. in Civil Engineering, Sharif University of Technology

Houriyeh is a student in the Robotics program. Her interests are in soft and stretchable sensors, robot learning for manipulation, and teleoperation of prostheses using haptics feedback. She is particularly interested in developing soft haptic robotics interfaces and systems. Following her passion, she wants to leverage the intrinsic material advantages of soft robotics in safe human interaction. Ultimately, her goal is to integrate soft tactile sensors with grasping and artificial intelligence for robot manipulation and perception.
